Bio
Los Angeles band Leland and the Silver Wells have emerged as a band whose melodies and lyrics transcend boundaries. Formed by the multitalented Leland Ettinger, the band's fifth album, “Riverboat”, is a musical journey down the River of Life. This album isn't just a collection of songs; it's a spiritual odyssey, guiding listeners from birth to death and every moment in between.
Opening with the haunting “Requiem”, the album seamlessly flows into the majestic sounds of a string quartet in “Hold On Tight”, leading listeners into a whirlwind of emotions. The album's climax, the mournful “Riverboat”, leaves listeners floating on their own personal vessel, immersed in the band's atmospheric world.

"this music is deeply felt, highly ambitious, and ultimately moving. It’s an album that will grow on you over time."

"'Luck of the Draw' mixes West Coast flower power pop with a dash of twangy country in there too. (Think early Bangles.)"

“Leland and The Silver Wells is deliciously persuasive, full of gossamer hues, resonant textures, and Leland's scrumptiously mysterious tones.”
